The second of a three-part series that looks at systemic organizational choices that influence potential NextGen engagement. NextGen refers to two groups: Millennials/GenY and GenZ. Many of us are speculating – no matter our sector – how many of the current pivots made in response to the pandemic’s disruption will have staying power? The expression “going back to normal” stands in opposition to innovation – going back to normal implies returning to the comfort of status quo and familiarity. It is also something that has held back Nonprofits from maximizing their ability to engage the next generation of donors, volunteers and leaders.
